Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. Course Cancellation by IPT Brisbane
  • IPT Brisbane reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to low enrolment, instructor unavailability, or force majeure events.
  • If a course is cancelled by IPT Brisbane, students will be offered the option to transfer to a different course or receive a full refund.
2. Student-Initiated Cancellations
  • Students who wish to cancel their enrolment must notify IPT Brisbane in writing via email or by submitting a cancellation request at the institute.
  • Cancellation requests must include the student’s full name, course details, and reason for cancellation.
3. Refund Eligibility
  • Refunds will be processed based on the timing of the cancellation request.
  • Cancellations made prior to course commencement may be eligible for a partial refund.
  • Once the course has started, refunds may not be granted, except in exceptional circumstances as determined by IPT Brisbane.
4. Course Transfers
  • Students may request to transfer to a different course or defer their enrolment to a later session instead of cancelling.
  • Course transfer requests must be made in writing and are subject to approval based on availability.
5. No-Show Policy
  • Failure to attend a scheduled class without prior notice will not be eligible for a refund.
  • Students who fail to attend without notice may be required to re-enroll and pay additional fees if they wish to resume the course.
6. Processing of Refunds
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days from the date of approval.
  • Refunds will be issued via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed upon.
7. Exceptional Circumstances
  • Refund requests due to exceptional circumstances (such as medical emergencies, visa refusal, or relocation) may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Supporting documentation may be required for such refund considerations.
